Kidding. I don't have a book club. But I do read a library load of a books every month. In fact, if work and school were not a thing I would probably never stop reading. I've never really been into fiction that much, though. I would much rather have a book that is going to teach me something or make me think (although good fiction does that, too).
There is a special level of annoyance that comes from moving your belongings around an inordinate amount of times. Here's a little snippet of the number of times I have moved my belongings in the last 2 years:
Marie Kondo, the author of The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up, says that much can be learned about oneself from the items that remain AFTER one has discarded all items that do not spark joy.
You know that beautiful moment? That one between awake and asleep when you are perfectly poised for meditation - yet still snuggled down in all that bedding plush - and you think "God, you are still. Make me still."
There are boxes in Janelle's empty bedroom. There are boxes and random belongings strewn accross her guest bedroom. There are doodads in her bathroom that need sorting.
